Privacy policy

This policy explains how Longevity Hacker News handles newsletter, contact and optional analytics data.

Information we collect

Newsletter forms may collect email, optional name, consent, source page and campaign parameters.

Contact and claim-submission forms may collect name, email, enquiry type and message. Please do not send personal medical information.

After analytics consent, we may collect page paths, interaction types, broad referring domains and site-search terms. Query strings are excluded from page-view locations, and search values that resemble email addresses or phone numbers are redacted.

How we use information

We use newsletter data to send evidence briefings and manage unsubscribe or confirmation links.

We use contact data to respond to corrections, source suggestions, sponsor enquiries and legal/privacy requests.

We use aggregated analytics to improve navigation, answer gaps, search visibility and newsletter conversion. We do not use analytics to provide personal medical recommendations.

Analytics and cookies

Optional Google Analytics and the privacy-safe first-party analytics mirror are consent-gated. The site remains readable without analytics consent.

The first-party mirror does not intentionally store IP addresses, user IDs, email addresses or full URL query strings.

Essential local storage may be used to remember cookie consent state.

Service providers and retention

We use service providers for hosting, database storage, email delivery and optional analytics. They process data under their own security and privacy terms.

We retain operational data only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described here, legal obligations, security and correction records.

Medical information

This site is not designed to receive lab results, prescriptions, diagnoses or private health documents.

Messages containing medical information may be deleted or handled only as needed for safety, legal or operational reasons.

Your choices

You can decline analytics, clear the saved consent preference in your browser, unsubscribe from any briefing, or contact editor@longevityhackernews.com about a privacy request.

This policy may be updated as the service and applicable requirements change.
